The location was perfect, close to Metro, and Financial district icons. It also meant quieter streets after hours than say around more active areas.
The beds were comfortable and service was great.
The room was neat, clean as was the bathroom.
It was also very clear what the fees were and what was included and what not.
Water bottles replenished daily.
A multiple of nearby convenience stores, food, and if needed pharmacies.
The air con/ heat pump did its job very well.
I have already suggested this hotel to friends and family should they seek accommodation in New York.

We had an amazing stay at the Bowery Hotel. The room was beautiful and the service was top-notch. Room service was delicious and prompt. We had just gotten married earlier in the day and the hotel had arranged to have champagne waiting in our room for us which made us feel so special. We met friends for celebratory drinks in the hotel that evening and the cocktails were amazing and the environment was excellent. Lively and cool without being over-done or too loud.

The hotel is gorgeous, the rooms are well appointed but small. The house keeping is kind and courteous - the staff are good and the food is amazing. Would 100% stay again even if the area is a little touch and go. Still worth it!
