I liked the human contact the most. It made the stay so much better. We are usually shy and do not talk to hotel staff so much, but Mat and his family are just amazing and welcoming, nice, helpful and kind. They take such good care of customers... They are the best and it made our stay much more valuable! Apart from that, everything was great, the room was spacious, clean, modern, decorated with taste. You have everything you need. The homestay is in a quiet area in the city center, so eveything is close by. They also help you book other services. I highly recommend it.

We stayed at Em's House for 2 nights and occupied 4 rooms. Everything about this place was fantastic -- walking distance to Hoi An ancient town, very hospitable host, lovely rooms. I highly recommend this place for the best value!

Located a bit outside the bustling city center, the little town villa welcomed you with their full heartfelt kindness. The buildings are kept in good shape, the pool is open until late, with the owner up for a chat here and there. The bed was huge (2 twins combined), the interior flawless, and the outside shower in 102 an unexpected treat!

The staff were super friendly and helpful with everything. The resort was beautiful, providing and relaxing and quiet atmosphere. The food was delicious when I didn't feel like leaving my room. The bed was like a fluffy cloud to sleep in and the bath tub was divine. Perfect spot to enjoy Hoi An outside the hustle of the village.

Daisy was wonderful. We had a fantastic time in Hoi An thanks to her recommendations. The breakfast buffet was overall quite good. The laundry service was great too. The location is a bit out of the centre, far enough to be quiet but close enough to be a short walk.

I had a pleasant night at Lion King Hotel. The receptionist was incredibly helpful, providing us with detailed recommendations on where to go in Hoi An and even advising us on how to stay safe from pickpockets. Flower and Robert were exceptional hosts who made us feel truly welcome and well taken care of. They took the time to recommend places to visit and shared valuable local tips. A lovely touch was the complimentary Banh Mi upon arrival or departure, along with some local biscuits before we left for Da Nang—such a thoughtful and much-appreciated surprise! The hotel's location was perfect, and the beds were the comfiest we’ve had in Vietnam. Their pillows were also way better than the ones at Da Nang Grand Mercure, making for an even more restful sleep. A special mention also goes to the kind older gentleman who helped with our bags and always greeted us with a warm smile. Honestly, I regret only staying for one night—I felt like I made the wrong choice by not booking a longer stay. Thank you so much again!

Great hotel in a beautiful garden at a quiet location. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds, tasty breakfast. We have enjoyed great massages as well in their la when it rained. the staff is amazing and they helped us arrange cooking class, lantern workshop, etc. You can rent their bikes for free and go around the charming rural areas in the vicinity, as well as use their regular shuttle bus back and forth to town.
