It’s a farm in the mountains (a car is needed to reach) with a restaurant. All the food, vegetables, fruits, milk, pickles and cheese that are served are home made. It was a pure pleasure to connect with nature and such a simplicity of living. You can have delicious dinner at the place. The people hosting us, as well as the visitors from the village, all welcomed us with warmth as if we were family. Hospitality was exceptional. Room was modern, clean, comfortable bed with hot water. We would have easily stayed a whole week. As you’re in nature, there are plenty of walks to be discovered. The SH38 road on which it is located is a scenic route, very recommended to drive through.

One of our absolute favourite stays of the whole trip, even though it was our last night and the main reason for the stay was proximity to the airport. The room was clean, surroundings lovely, it was well located and there was also a parking slot provided. But, the stay was absolutely elevated by the hosts! We felt so welcome, communication was excellent at all times, breakfast was incredibly delicious and it genuinely was a shame to leave. If we're back, there's no doubt we'll book Rooms by Lion again.

Everything was just PERFECT, incredible value for money!! great location in a calm little street near the Old Bazaar, spotlessly clean rooms with A/C, comfy beds, great breakfast with a view… but the best was Alesio, his family and their kindness! they gave us good advice on restaurants and directions and took care of every little detail to make our stay perfect. 200% would recommend!

A bright, extremely clean, and spacious house with a beautiful terrace with a view, and great breakfast. The owners are a super nice/hospitable couple. He came and rescued us after our maps application sent us to a dead end while finding the place at night (happens frequently apparently). It is located off the road that goes to the top of the mountain above the town, so double check your map route. It is a quiet area with a lot of green, but it is only a 15 minute walk to the castle.
