Valbona is breathtaking. The house is next to a meadow oasis in the middle of the valley. The room was perfect, clean and cosy with an incredible look at the mountains. The breakfast was excellent, made of their products, served in the garden or in their dining room. Selimaj's sons floently communicate in English. We also had lunch/dinner with them and it was excellent; domestic food prepared by the mother of the family. It is an excellent starting point for many hikes in the valley and to the mountains above.

The guesthouse is located a little further from the center of Valbone and has a charming rustic character. We enjoyed beautiful views on the mountains. The hosts were very kind and helpful and prepared an incredibly good breakfast! Bonus: they also have a cat which has just had kittens.

The location is simply sublime – waking up to panoramic views of snow-capped mountains and crisp, fresh air was a dream come true. The resort's architecture seamlessly integrates with the natural surroundings, creating a serene and picturesque atmosphere. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, they speak very good English and helped organise a transfer to the start of Valbone-Theth hike. The property was almost brand new and very clean, and it’s one of the only places in Valbone where you can pay by card.
