Quiet house in the countryside. 5-10 min ride to the cave and the monastery in Areni. Wineries are close by as well. The room was clean, spacious bathroom ( we got the bigger room that actually fits 3 ppl even though it was 2 of us). The breakfast was great. The family serves you in the dining room. Food is good and the view is awesome. We were the first ones down for breakfast so we enjoyed the meal in peace, but even when the rest of the guests joined everyone was quiet and respectful, enjoying the food and the view. The hosts are great people. Great place for overnight when exploring that part of Armenia on the way there or back from Tatev.

The owner, Ani, was super friendly! The room was clean and had everything we needed. It’s in a good position to visit Areni, Noravank and the rest of the region. Ani treat us with sweets (she backed them in the night and made us try them), a delicious breakfast, Apple from her garden and she also made us taste their home made wine! Super!! Highly recommended! Noravank B&B has a huge garden in which you could loose yourself. After a full day it’s possible to relax in the garden or on the comfortable sofa chairs on the upstairs balcony while looking at the stars. Heghine served fresh produce from the garden for breakfast including eggs from the chickens. Being a short distance from the main north-south road on one of Armenia’s wine routes and close enough to Noravank Monastery, Noravank is a comfortable place to stay.

It’s worth staying here just for the dinner. Friendly staff and comfortable beds. Very nice place to stay for Armenian wine and for hiking. Would stay again.
