The panoramic view of Bad Gastein from our apartment was breath-taking. The private sauna and bath in the room were very therapeutic. The spa and treatments made a most rejuvenating New Year getaway. The hotel is in a picturesque valley just next to the waterfall. We were invited to celebrate the New Year countdown at the balcony with fellow guests, with complimentary bubblies, and unforgettable fresh snow. The apartment was a clean, pretty new, nice desiged, faire-price. It is located 3 minutes away from the bus stations from which you can reach Bad Gastein or Bad Hoffgastein in less than 10 minutes. The busses stop directly in front of the skii lift. The apartment had a nice small kitchen with microwave and Nesspresso machine and a dining space, which we enjoyed for having breakfast and dinner every day. The owner and his father were super helpful and kind.

We had a great skiing vacation here in Bad Gastein despite the lack of fresh snow and extremely warm weather. Special thanks to Alex Hinterberger - she made our stay in Das Schider exceptional, and she was so hospitable and friendly. Thanks, Alex! Hope to meet you again. In general, this hotel has everything you need. Superb idea for the breakfast, the staff was taking every minute care about the order of breakfast stuff, etc. The sauna with a superb mountain view and the terrace - this is the best you need to rejuvenate your batteries after skiing. The Hotel is located in a very quiet area, 10 min walking distance to the city center with restaurants and a famous waterfall, which is just fabulous! Special thanks from my daughter to 2 kitties - they are so friendly and cute.

The apartment was really spacious. We also loved both balconies. It is in the center of the city, the store and Alpentherme are just across the street. Also you can access the Alpentherme through connecting tunnel. The breakfast was also delitious.

The apartment was wonderful. Modern, well equipped, with a big balcony, very clean. The host was very nice and helpful. There is free parking next to the house. Location is perfect. A couple of minutes to the center and the the Alpentherme. Entrance to it was free and unlimited. We even were provided with a free towel and bathrobe. We had free use of Gastein's cable cars. Thank you for a lovely stay, will definitely recommend your house and will come back again.
