If you like a historical milieu, this small, carefully renovated hotel from 1885 is just right for you! The atmosphere is so authentic that you can easily imagine meeting a hotel guest dressed in Victorian costume in the corridor. Also the world famous composer Johannes Brahms was on vacation in Mürzzuschlag and passed by this hotel every day! Great view of the valley. Breakfast delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was huge. If you need more beds in one room, call the hotel staff directly. Enough place for parking. If you come by the train, you need a taxi from the train station if you have a lot of luggage (contact the hotel staff before, they may help you).

The room is clean, with a royal style. Great for anyone who wants a special atmosphere. The terrace view is amazing. We planned to leave earlier, but the view was so beautiful that we stayed until the last check-out hour. Special compliments to the owner – a wonderful person ❤️

Wonderful spacious apartment. Extremely well equipped with everything needed (tea, coffee, cleaning products, salt, oil, etc.). Great coffee machine, comfy beds, large TVs. Infra-red sauna and whirlpool bath were great and the children loved the table football. Remote location so you need a car. It's a 10 min drive from Semmering for skiing (20 mins for Stuhleck). We'd happily come back and will look to try it in the summer months next time.

I think this was the best place I have ever stayed at while on any trip I've ever been to. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are absolutely beautiful with hand-crafted furniture pieces, paintings and drawings are done by hand, not just printed pictures like almost any other place I've been to. The interior in general was beautiful. If you plan on cooking, I think there's nothing missing from the kitchen. And if you go mountain hiking, the trail starts almost next to this place. If anything, I felt like we were underpaying for this good service that we got. I really wish there would be more places like this and I hope to visit this place again very soon :)

Nadine has been very helpful , she provided all the information we needed and was there to support with extra requests too. The apartment was clean and super equipped with everything you might need. Absolutely comfortable bed!! It is a 10min drive to Stuhleck for skiing. Perfect place to stay.
