It was incredible to be surrounded by rainforest and sleep with all the sounds of the jungle. Best place to see wildlife from your room. The owners are really nice and helped us in everything we needed. The swimming pool is so cool as well.

Amazing place in the middle of wild nature! The staff is excellent and very helpful. The dinner is very varied in the restaurant. It is recommended to do the waterfall route near the hotel - the natural water pools are amazing!

Location was beautiful, right in the Daintree Forest, and on the beach, with nothing for miles. Food was delicious, very high quality being so isolated. The cabins are small, but comfortable, perfect place to relax and get away from everything.

You honestly couldn’t find a better place to stay if you tried. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Having your own private pool to relax in was wonderful and we enjoyed the off-grid element. Played lots of games and watched some dvds in the evening. We all agreed it was the best accommodation we have EVER stayed in.

We went for the view, and the secluded feel, and it did not dissapoint. Still close to Cape Trib activities and shops. Perfect couple of nights to end our holiday.

The property was much better than it seemed through the photos. It was cosy and clean, with two fans in our twin room that were individually controlled. The room had a bar fridge, cups, and coffee and tea provided. The property also has a short trail system that residents can use, and said to have regular visits from cassowaries and Musk rat kangaroos. There is also a roost for the Spectacled Flying foxes on site. As a bird watcher it was nice to see a few species of doves roosting in the trees around the property. The owners were really friendly and nice when it comes to recommendations and maintaining the property! Though it should be noted that there is limited reception on site for optus, and no reception on telstra network.

Everything is simply great. The view on the forest is worth alone the stay. The structure is very nice and ecofriendly, simply in the middle of one of the oldest rainforest in the world. The room is big, comfortable bed, private bathroom, wifi and the breakfast with tropical fresh fruit and handmade jam is amazing. Finally Matt, the owner, is always available to provide suggestions for trips and will help you in organize any activity in the area.
