Peter and Steven were exceptional hosts. Their property is literally in the rainforest! They have 2 lovely dogs and a very beautiful cat. There are no spiders in the house so dont be worried. The bedroom is spacious and the bed is VERY comfy and HUGE! We slept with the doors open at night and you could hear the insects and birds and the river, it was sososo great! There is the river or creek down some steps in the back which you can go into. Peter also gave us a tour of the flora that surrounds the property, dont forget to take a look at the large bamboo!

The ultimate place to relax and reconnect surrounded by nature. Beautifully curated furnishings and decor, and soft touches like the properties own grown fruit, and chicken eggs, waiting on arrival. The hosts were friendly and helpful, including taking me to the private waterfall and swimming hole on the property! Truly special and I already am looking forward to returning.

I left a review awhile back in regard to the state of the rooms and I can say the owners have taken that review into consideration. Our family decided to rebook for a family trip at the Barrier Reef and this time round the rooms were exceptional cleaned and fresh, beds are comfortable, rooms have all you need for a family to stay and be comfortable. I can say they have stepped up their game and are doing a great job. The staff were very nice and polite and accommodated for our family as we had multiple rooms and bookings
