The hosts are super friendly. They treated us like long lost friends.. we love their genuinity .The Owner gave us a little tour of their backyard .It is truly a wonderful experience because not all hotel owners are like him.. Cheers to a new friendship.

Tongeren is the most beautiful historical town, we loved and visited all of the roman history and museums and this accomodation was perfectly placed for that. The heritage of this part of town is gorgeous with walking paths and gardens, canals and roman walls. The accomodation is 3 levels on the ground floor a lovely entry to hang coats/shoes etc and a beautiful dining area over the cobblestone pathway, the kitchen is generously stocked with loads of coffee and everything you need just like you would have at home and unlike many holiday rentals. Also on the ground floor is a toilet room and large perfectly equipped laundry which we appreciated and even a separate freezer, The accomodation is modern but retains all of the charm that matches the town, the neighbourhood is very old some home displaying dates of medieval origin. The next level is the lounge area, tv and balcony and large gorgeous resort style bathroom with amazing bath and big open windows to the fresh air and the bird life. The balcony at the front of the townhouse overlooks the trees , old properties and you can people watch as you enjoy a coffee, we loved this every day. The top level is the 2 bedrooms the steps are old style, the depth of the steps is probably not enough for most feet so take care. Lovely upstairs again the loft style windows , fans available for cooling. The hosts were very generous thank you to them for making our stay special, wifi excellent. Good lighting throughout. Very quiet location. Dont miss the sunday antique fair look it up its amazing.

Very welcoming upon arrival, fantastic food in their restaurant “Hoeve Dewalleff” with even beter wines. Very spacious and nicely designed and recently renovated room, which was impeccable. Water and Cava in the minibar as a gift. Broad selection fresh breakfast with great coffee and fresh orange juice. We will certainly be back, not the least to come pickup even more amazing wines. Everything on the mark, awesome value for money. Thank you for the fantastic stay!

Breakfast was amazingly good. All the surroundings were very pleasant. Good opportunities to park electric bikes and charge. Sweet and considerate hosts who will do everything well for us guests. We will come again.

We had a huge quiet room overlooking the garden & fields. Had to sleep with windows open though as no airco & it was hot (insect screen on windows)....hint, pull the curtains by day while you are out! Comfy bed so we slept well. Superb breakfast. Walking distance to an excellent restaurant is an added bonus. There was a fridge on the landing where we could put our beer & wine and there was a guest lounge where we could watch the Olympics on TV (no TV in room :( was the only negative). Free carparking. Good location for visiting Tongeren.

Tasteful decor, good breakfast, great locatiion, good staff

We really enjoyed everything from the greetings and Antje showcasing how things work within the property, the local area and even going beyond as to drop us from the BNB to the local train station to embalm us with her immence kindness. Antje left us condiments such as fresh eggs, Jams and freshly squeezed Juice and on the 2nd day left a lovely note (with a gift) to make us (my mother and sister and I) feel ever-so welcome. Even her daughter greeting us with such kindness and professionalism shows the kind and selflessness of her mother coming off her.

This flat has a very good furnishing and many details. We felt very good there. The host was very caring and very nice. Even it was no problem to have a safe place for our two bicycles (velos, bikes). We can recommend it!

Kids absolutely loved it. We as well. The place is done in a very thoughtful way. Our kids just wanted to stay there for the rest of the holiday. Everything has been thought through. One of the best.
