It was such a pleasant experience to stay in Hotel Mille Colonnes. I wanted to stay in the historical Belgian houses, therefore Mille Colonnes was the right option. Everyone was so hospitable and friendly. The hotel is located in front of the train station which makes it so easy to go. AND THE BEDS ARE THE MOST COMFORTABLE BEDS I HAVE EVER SLEPT ON!!

An amazingly beautiful house in the heart of Mechelen. Vintage and beautifully decorated. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was made with love by the owner. We only came for one night for Tomorrowland, but we'll make sure to come back to visit Mechelen; the owners can give you a lot of tips and tell you a lot of stories about the history of the city. We can surely recommend the location; you will get a fantastic vibe!

Kurt was a fantastic host, very friendly, open and helpful. I really liked the room - size, organic bathroom accessories and the shower :) Bed was very comfortable and had a nice sleep. Got personalised breakfast with juice, bread, jam from local sources and scrambled eggs from Porta' own chickens.

Our hosts were so lovely and so accommodating. The room was perfect for our stay, super clean and plentiful hot water. Breakfast was a wonderful spread of fresh fruit salad, pastries, hams, meats, cheeses, eggs cooked to order, breads, yoghurts and a huge selection of coffees and teas. Great location for both Azelhof and Lier itself.
