value for money, friendly staff, location is perfect, walking distance from the main train station. depending on what you look for, it is a small village ambiance, quiet and peaceful. breakfast was great and i was even given extra time to check out as i was running late. will stay here again for my next visit in the near area.

Loved this comfortable and quiet stay in Urnasch. It was perfectly cozy and a great starting/end point for my hikes in the Appenzell area (only 30 mins away by train). Jessica was also very chill and friendly, she gave me some extra rosti she'd made too. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stay here again.

An amazing host Lise - a very helpful, knowlegable and friendly person with who I had a very intersting conversation. I would honestly recomend this BnB to anyone. Such a lovely athmosphere built by Lise. I can’t wait to find some time and go back :) A wonderful breakfast served by Lise with a super cheap price. Amazing, tasty, fresh and healthy.     It’s a great place, we only stayed overnight but would come back for more days for sure. With a family (4 kids aged 6 to 11) it was brilliant. Lots of chance to play with other kids, food shopping is close by, all you need to be self contained (with shared shower and cooking, dining etc) lots of play ground activities - it makes for a great family adventure

    The family room was attractive and comfortable. The playground small but nice. The garden lovely and the view fantastic. The food at dinner was not to our liking and the breakfast was disappointing: bread only white and quality poor; no yogurt, not enough fruit, coffee not good.
