I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Friendly staff, good breakfast and coffee. The room was very comfortable I did not hear the church bells that often in my room so it was very comfortable.

INCREDIBLE STAY! The hosts were extremely welcoming, kind and helpful. Immaculately clean and comfortable accommodation. A beautifully decorated seating area downstairs where they serve the most delicious breakfast!! In close proximity to many beautiful hikes. Many other good benefits of staying here. My stay here was totally satisfying! The whole accommodation was super clean, which made me feel really comfortable throughout my trip. The kitchen had all the useful appliances I needed—dishwasher, fridge, microwave and stovetop—so it was super convenient to fix simple meals. Check-in was fully self-service, no need to wait around, which gave me a lot of freedom. One big plus: if you stay for 3 consecutive days, you can apply to the tourism bureau for reimbursement of your round-trip ticket costs. Highly recommend!

A beautifully located hotel. The staff was all very helpful and extremely nice. Breakfast, as well as dinner, were delicious. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Very comfortable parking lot beneath the hotel with an elevator from there to all floors. Not a cheap hotel but relative to prices in Switzerland very high value for money.

    Outstanding family run B&B that was charming, clean, and situated in the heart of the Appenzell region with access to unbelievable scenery and hiking. Wonderful hospitality from Abongile who provided all the local knowledge and recommendations. She went above and beyond to help us with a parking ticket as well. Amazing local organic breakfast was provided every morning, with the scrambled eggs in particular a highlight. WiFi was fast!
