It was a wonderful stay. The apartment was large and spacious. It has everything you need to spend a few days in Basel. The bedrooms are big and comfortable. The beds are extremely comfortable. The apartment was very clean. Communication with Tonight Apartment was excellent. After inquiring, we immediately received a mobility ticket. The pick-up and return of the keys was very easy. The location is great, very close to the tram stop. It’s easy to get to the center of Basel from there. There’s a Coop store nearby. I consider the stay to be very successful. I highly recommend it. it was just … a dream! a modest but unforgettable castle experience:) Thomas, the castle manager, was super kind and welcoming. the facilities are practically new - but combined so carefully with the old heart of the castle. the beds are comfortable, there are board games to choose from, and even during the colder months the heating system works great. would recommend a thousand times! (just keep in mind that it requires walking up some flights of stairs to reach the premises) so grateful for this experience ❤️

This beautiful and very old building is a wonderful place to stay. The town of Mariastein consists basically of an Abbey with a residence, a couple of hotels and restaurants, a farm and a gift shop. It is very peaceful. Our hotel room was spacious with a large bright window and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent with enough food choices to please everyone including vegans and those who eat gluten free. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.
