This place is incredibly comfortable, spacious, and cozy, all while being affordable. During our trip to Luzern, Switzerland, we stayed here for three days. Silvia provided us with a comfortable bed and a welcoming space, as well as delicious breakfasts each morning. We had great conversations with Silvia about Switzerland and neighboring countries, and we were able to enjoy wonderful evenings with our traveling companions in the spacious and pleasant accommodations. Very welcoming and helpful staff. I would especially like to mention the following hotel employees: Lawrence, Julietta, Fabio, Bogdan and Adi. Magnificent view from the room to the lake. The room is comfortable. An unforgettable magic experience of visiting a Japanese restaurant Minamo with a chef Yutaka Kobayashi. Every dish was like a piece of art. Wonderful staff at Waldhotel, especially those in the restaurant are very attentive to our needs and requests. Excellent food at Verbena restaurant, both in terms of quality, taste and presentation. It started to snow the day we arrived. The Burgenstock turned into a winter wonderland with spectacular views. Great spa. It was a treat to appreciate the snow falling while enjoying the hot outdoor pool:-) Free tickets for the furnicular and boat to Lucerne was a plus.

We stayed for two nights and got to climbed the peaks and see alps in the distance which was breathtaking! The half board option is really ideal for us and helped us to secure nice table and food choice. They also provide us free cable or cogwheels tickets for the 2nd day that allowed us to decent to Kriens and Lucerne. We would highly recommended this place to stay for at least two nights if you love mountains and nature. The staffs are thoughtful and friendly.
