Very comfortable beds! Nicely decorated and very clean! Newly built hotel. Employees are very kind and welcoming! Food at their restaurant is very good! Amalia the chef, waitress and cashier is a very good chef and very kind! Owner of hotel is a fun and generous, caring person!

We loved that it was on a farm. It was a beautiful location about 40mins outside La Fortuna proper. You need a vehicle to get around. On the property there are horses, peacocks, miniature horses and even a beautiful water buffalo! The room was comfortable and the service was so hospitable and warm! DEFINITELY worth staying there!

Rincon Sereno San Carlos is a magical place! It's clear that so much thought has gone into designing a peaceful and restful experience for guests. The wooden veranda faces a lovely view with a pond, trees, flowers, and fields beyond. We even had a toucan sighting!. Our friendly host attended to all of our needs and anticipated any other possible needs we could have. Plus, she was excellent with her immediate correspondence! I highly recommend a visit here - just make sure it's for a minimum of 2 nights as 1 night is definitely not enough! Last, be sure to visit the nearby Termales del Bosque at night - these amazing hot springs are literally in the rainforest!!

We loved the bungalow in the middle of the forest, it's perfect for nature lovers. The staff was attentive and friendly, the restaurant offered delicious traditional meals. Honestly, it was hard to leave.

The lodge was beautiful ...much better than any photos, and so tranquil! We saw toucans, monkeys, agoutis and so many birds all in one day on the property. We were woken by howler monkeys, and we saw a sloth on our riding tour. It lived up to all my dreams.

- very helpful guys who tried to help my girlfriend calling the airport to get information about delayed luggage. - nice dinner though a little bit pricy. - they offered chocolate for breakfast for people not drinking coffee :) - pool looked very clean but we didn’t got into it - overall appearance was very good
