Casa Chicua is an adorable little cottage, rustic but comfortable, and Juan (the host) couldn’t have been any friendlier or more accomodating. It’s super close to the Volcán Irazu so perfect for an early morning visit there. The views from the cottage are also amazing, we awoke early to find ourselves above the clouds. Enchanting!

This clean and comfortable apartment is located in one of the safest areas of San José province next to two shopping mall that offer all you need from supermarkets to restaurants and different shops. The house is really peaceful, comfortable and well-equipped. Views are wonderful from all sides, lots of birds in the lovely gardens. Vera was super friendly and welcoming. We would have liked to stay longer and hope to visit again in future. The Hacienda Orosi hot springs (nearby) is also worth a visit!

Cabin was great, spatious and clean. Bed was good, as well as bathroom. Really nice view from the cabin. The garden around the cabin was also really nice. And the common area, for breakfast, was also really nicely decorated.
