This was the best and by the way also the cheapest accommodation at CV. Basic but very nice and clean room with running water and electricity. WiFi was strong and very well working in the dining area, we could also catch a weaker signal in our room. There was always a plenty of food. Breakfast is included and makes a perfect start of the day. Dinner is extra, it’s cheap and really good. The staff is unbelievably helpful and can help to arrange the transportation, the guide and anything else.

Ciza e Rose is situated in Portela and offers a garden and a shared lounge. The property has mountain and city views.

Reasonable price, clean room and very welcoming and helpful host Rose. Basic but decent breakfast (I ask it to serve at 6am before the hiking Fogo, and it was there exactly at time). The wifi is available outside the house, 20 metres in front of the hotel, close to the restaurant

The location is perfect. Right at the start for the hike to Fogo. The location in booking is (as of today) not correct, its right in the center of the village. But the owners are superfriendly and can send you the details via WhatsApp. I arrived late because I was hiking till sunset and he waited outside on the street, and after check in I got a really delicious meal. The room has 3 comfy beds, enough plugs to charge and extra blankets. The bathroom is modern and has a shower (unlucky only with cold water). In the main building there are tables and chairs and a small bar. There is beer, wine, softdrinks, water.... Everything is clean and the WiFi works great. Breakfast is included, but I didn't use it as I was out hiking. From the house you have perfect views of Fogo. I can really recommend this place.

What a lovely family! Booked it last minute and didn't expect much. But got an excellent place to stay! It is clean and cosy place for very good price. Good location as well. I even had the view to volcano through my window.

Great place to sip cocktails by the pool. A great place to stay after hiking the volcano and just doing nothing. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We really loved our stay at Hotel Savana! It’s in a great location, we had an amazing view of the whole city from our room which was very spacious with comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The staff was extremely helpful with everything, they gave us all important information, we had our dirty laundry washed, breakfast was good, and we would definitely come and stay here again!

There are no words to describe how we felt at Fogo Boutique Hotel in what now seems to have been an amazing dream in a natural paradise. If Fogo is an island of spirit, of a breathtaking nature, and wonderful people, this hotel is another must in the island. The views are absolutely amazing. Tony made us feel like one of his family, he was really helpful, even showed us the local life, and he is GREAT chef. All the personal was lovely, always willing to help, chat even with our language difficulties, and a special thank to Micaela, who was always more than attent to us. It was one of the greatest stays we had in our lives. The hotel is an experience itself. If we go back to Cabo Verde, we will absolutely repeat here.

The location is good, at the edge of a peaceful and friendly village means no noises at night. Also not far from Fogo viewpoint (20min drive). Bus station 30sec walking, supermarket and restaurant 10sec as both are available directly in / at the house. The owner is super friendly and is easily available via booking or WhatsApp. The room is big, with a big comfy bed and enough plugs to charge your stuff. There is a small balcony, and the bathroom has a good shower with hot water. Everything is clean and the WiFi works great. Secured parking is also available. There is a nice terrace with a pool and great views. I really liked my stay here and can totally recommend this place.
