- Very tidy and peaceful countryside surroundings. - The host’s husband and son are hunters, and they showed us all their trophies — there are truly a lot of them. - Breakfast was homemade and very tasty, although personally I would have preferred more hot food. - Large property with hammocks, swings, a volleyball court and frisbees. The lawn was freshly mowed. - Chickens are raised behind one of the buildings, so you’ll get fresh eggs for breakfast :)

The stay at Käbruotsa was really terrific! A special thank you to Taavo, the host. He is one of the warmest persons I have met! Very friendy, very attentive! He met us at the property when we arrived, explained everything. On top of that, the next day he left us 12 fresh caught sea perch fish at the outdoor fridge! That was a feast! :) A true island experience! The farm itself is very spacious, there are 3 bedrooms in the main house and extra large upstairs bedroom with 6 beds in another house right next by. There is also big wood heated sauna, a hot tube, a lot of space in the garden. Right next to the house we also found some disc golf stuff we could play with and a trampoline. The sea is approximately a 10 minute walk away, so very close. The farm looks like a true Saaremaa farm. Main house kitchen is very well equipped and everything works with ease, the outside grill was also awesome. In summary, a very good experience! PS: highly recommend Koigi bog trail for summer hiking experience - a magical place, felt as if we were in some jungle, the trail is great, the colors were vivid, the bog lakes were surprisingly big. PS2: approximately 30 minute drive away from Käbruotsa is Koguva village in Muhu island. Highly recommend to visit Bottenresto for a gourmet dinner or lunch.

This was our second time at Aavikunurga and we hope we can go back again! We just love it there, the house is everything I want from a place in Saaremaa and as a huge plus there's the incredible breakfast!

I loved the friendliness of the host and his family, the authenticity and the warm breakfast served by the family. An added bonus is an amazing sauna, quiet and warm houses. I'd love to come back here and share a beer with the host, as he is overall an amazing and friendly person.

The apartment is equipped with everything you need. There is also plenty of parking space for the car available. But the very best about this accomodation is really the location. Very remote (there is a camping site next to it and a really good restaurant) and with seaview and terrasse towards the sea. Perfect if you really want to relax.
