Absolutely perfect! The house is spacious and welcoming in every small detail (we particularly appreciated the collection of books and comics to read). The beds and the sofa are comfortable, the kitchen fully equipped, and the living room super cozy. The surroundings are peaceful and there are nice hikes around the village.

This campsite is set on the river bank, located in the village of Castellane, within a 5-minute drive of the Verdon Gorge.

I like everything about this place the location and the vibration in the air the nature around the butterflies over the grass the flowers. The kids can play alone there are no cars around . There is a good vibration in there .

Wonderful, quirky, charming house. It's at the top of beautiful Castellane so the highest floor has an incredible view of the roof tops. Park for free at St Michel car park. If you need to drop off bags, approach from the new church, not St Michel side. Google.maps sent me that way and took me a painful half HR to reverse out! Make sure you walk the Castellane loop to the top of Le Roc.

We only wish we could have stayed longer. The apartment is in an ancient building in the middle of the village, which is itself extraordinary, and has been sensitively restored instead of being over-modernised. It was actually huge, with three rooms plus a bathroom. Despite initial impressions it was actually very comfortable and really has everything you could possibly need. You could certainly stay here for several days or a week or two if you like the area (and what is there not to like about it?)

The house was very nice, larger as it looks on the foto's The view was fantastic! And it was very quiet. We were there for 2 weeks with our kids aged 17 and 14 and we had a very good time. Possibility for swimming and canyoning in the neighborhood at fantastic beautiful places. We have visited some beautiful cities in the neighborhood and also some markets. Mrs Magali was very nice. Conclusion: highly recommended!!
