Our hosts were warm and welcoming. We rented Le Petit Columbier house.. It overlooked the lake. Seeing, talking to and feeding the resident Geese, Ducks and the baby ducklings was a real highlight and a bonus for us all. Great facilities available (eg BBQ's, personal outside spaces and lounge chairs)

The host was very friendly and welcoming. The property is conveniently located in the village (which is very quiet) offering walks from the front door. It is conveniently located for the numerous sites in the area. The kitchen was well equipped, the living room and attached conservatory being large and comfortable making them suitable for larger groups. The table football proved to be very popular.

Quite simply, this was a stunning and perfect place for us to explore Normandy for the 4 nights we were there. For a couple it's perfect, easy quick access from the main route through the area, plenty of parking and all the facilities you could need. Great central location for exploring the area, from the D Day beaches to St Mont Michel, Caen & Bayeux. Accommodation is really nicely done, a real treat with some lovely touches to help out after a day's travelling on the road! Only thing to note for future visitors is the mezzanine floor bedroom is amazing BUT staircase is very steep for anyone elderly or unsteady on their feet. Also the TV is all French speaking channels... but let's face it, who goes on holiday to watch TV but if you wanna watch a film in the evening be prepared with a laptop and hdmi lead (we weren't 😆). A big thankyou to our hosts.
