The location and the cottage itself. It’s was very relaxing and the beautiful horses a plus. My parents also appreciated the bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor.

This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Every member of staff was exceptionally friendly, professional and helpful. The atmosphere was relaxed, and we felt we were part of the family. We will be returning, and highly recommend that you visit this great hotel. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the beauty and wildlife of Dartmoor. The location of this beautiful hotel is wonderful. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were cosy and clean and the breakfast was delicious. We only stayed there for one night but we want to come back soon!

The location is fabulous. Walk up the road a few hundred metres and you are on Dartmoor. Magical. It has a cosy feel. Bar and restaurant both lovely. Food was great too.
