Such a lovely place- clean, extremely friendly staff - although we arrived quite late we could still order a snack. Very comfy bed and much space in the room. The breakfast in the morning was perfect (and such an amazing variety !).

Don't really know what to say as stay was cancelled & refunded as Boiler had broken down so hotel had no hot water and gave me the option to cancel for free., only writing on here as BOOKING.COM will not let me be and keep insisting I review even though I did not stay I believe that the Old Grey Mare would have been a perfect place to stay had I actually checked in

We spent a night here and the experience was amazing. Nice, clean room with friendly host that went above and beyond so that our stay is perfect. The spa area is very well maintained and breakfast was a treat.
