Staff were great. New owners very friendly. Stayed here after an unpleasant initial booking elsewhere and so glad I did. Breakfast included and double bed. Clean rooms. Brilliant

The house was lovely and spacious & very very clean. The beds are super comfy and the garden is absolutely beautiful with lovely view of the mountains behind. We will definitely be returning!

The room was extremely well priced. The room and shared bathroom were absolutely pristine. We enjoyed a great dinner and beer at the restaurant. The owners were delightful and keen for a chat. The location was perfect to explore Helmsdale from.

Clashmore House delivered a feeling of well being and relaxation throughout our stay. The owners have done an amazing job keeping the charm and feel of this elegant property. You feel as if you have arrived at a stately baronial home and the welcome and attention you receive is exceptional. Breakfast was fantastic. From the full cooked Scottish breakfast to the pancakes and other delights prepared for your table by the owners. The room we had was amazing. It was exactly what we saw in the pictures and it did not disappoint. A great space which has been well decorated to achieve the look and feel of a room fit for royalty. There has been few rooms we have stayed in that gave us this space and the comfort we experienced. The en-suite bathroom with rolled top bath was just as spacious and tastefully decorated. A good selection of toiletries and products were placed for our use. The main entrance and Hallway are your first wow factor and then you see the breakfast room. The hosts have done amazing with what they have got opened at this time with the rooms and we cannot wait to go back and see how this gem of a find has grown.

Everything was great; from the communication, to the facilities provided, to the cleanliness. The open plan living area was perfect for young kids. The beds were very comfy. Little added extras like blankets and some wood for the fire were really appreciated. The outside space was a bonus, with plenty of room for kids to run around and have fun. The hosts kindly also provided a stairgate, travel cot, high chair and fire guard to make our stay more comfortable.
