A warm welcome upon arrival makes such a difference when travelling solo. Amanda made sure I had everything I needed to make my stay an excellent experience, her colleagues were equally helpful. My room was very clean and comfortable and a pleasure to return to after a delicious dinner.

La Fosse was very welcoming yet unobtrusive, with a very friendly and warm feel. A lovely property, and great food - perfect for a couple of nights stay whilst I was attending a wedding. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area. Things were looking good from the moment I parked in the street, when 2 passing teenagers on their bikes said they’d heard it was a great place , and wished me a good stay.

Beautiful location, only 20 mins drive from Poole, lovely welcoming staff in the pub / restaurant, really great food and the most amazing home made caramel ice cream. The Royal Oak delivers on many levels. It has had a first-class makeover with extensive attention to detail. A genuine pleasure staying here. Worthy of particular mention was the lady member of staff of duty for breakfast and checkout on 25th. What a super personable and professional young person.
