Lovely cozy cottage with excellent facilities. Perfect central location for exploring Aberdeenshire and neighbouring Moray. Quiet peaceful setting surrounded by rolling farmland with lovely walks and lots of wildlife. Only 5 mins drive from Turriff a nice wee town with shops, pubs and a great chipper. Lovely friendly hosts also, even gave us a gift of some gorgeous honey produced on the farm. Overall 5 star.

very small town, limited options. We had a fantastic time. Great, friendly staff. Pub was downstairs, very convenient. Easy to park right out front. Close to several distilleries (a short drive or a longer walk). Limited things to do in the town, very limited places to eat, but as a home base to drive around the region, we loved it. Food in the pub for dinner was good. I would go back.

Perfect location to stay with a group of friends. Loads of space and lovely big living rooms to relax in. We were attending a wedding nearby but wish we had more time to spend enjoying more of what the house and grounds had to offer. Very friendly and helpful hosts!

We loved our stay at Roualeyn. Gale was a fantastic host and the house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The towels and bed sheets were all of high quality and added luxury to our stay. Gale was very helpful and nothing was any trouble for her. The rooms in the house are very spacious and everyone in our family enjoyed spending time in the house after a day exploring Aberdeenshire and Moray. The kitchen is well appointed and a spacious dining room is next door to enjoy an evening meal with drinks. The lounge was very comfortable and we made use of the log fire which was great. We enjoyed being so close to seeing the workings of the farm, the machinery and animals in the sheds and nearby fields. My two sons enjoyed staying on the farm and Gale was happy to give us all a tour of the farm and to see the new lambs. The scenery around the farm is lovely and spending time outside or viewing it from within the conservatory/ sun room in the house was relaxing and a nice place to be. We would recommend a stay in Roualeyn, I am sure you will enjoy all the things to see and do in Aberdeenshire and Moray. We hope to return again the future. Thank you.

Everything There was nothing to not like The house is beautiful and perfectly put together Gale just thinks of everything and is so happy to help you when you need it. They are the most friendliest family and for our farm obsessed boys seeing all the tractors, harvesters, tele handlers etc is just the perfect place to be. We did adventure out and they even put in there welcome book all the places to visit which is so helpful
