Lovely base for exploring the area. Easy to find and easy to access the home. Very clean and tidy. Bigger inside than what I expected. Kitchen a good size and well equipped. Nice and cosy. Would definitely stay again.

The views were just breathtaking. The assistant manager in the all day dining was just a breath of fresh air. He just made us feel so at home. Thanks for the beautiful cake that made my husband’s birthday extra special. The spa was just lovely. The two ladies that did our massages were so amazing.

The cowshed is in a stunning location up on the hill just outside of Llangollen. The road up the street is a little rocky so if like us you had a hire car you may want to go very slow. The room itself surpassed expectations it was beautiful! The bed was comfy, there were lovely chairs to lounge in and read and the terrace had a little table and chairs if you wanted to sit outside or have breakfast out there. The owner, was so friendly offering recommendations for food and they brought breakfast (croissants, toast, fruit, yoghurt and orange juice) which was an unexpected bonus. For me the highlight was the bath, it is a delight and a nice way to relax at the end of the day. If I were back in the area I would stay here again without hesitation.
