The apartment was really comfy and neat. I liked that options such as Netflix, BBC iPlayer, etc., were available on the telly. Particularly because it was an FA Cup weekend and I'd been on the road, so getting to watch the match replay on BBC iPlayer hit all the right notes for me.

    Lovely old building from outside, plenty of free parking. Plenty of outside seating and kids play area. Bar / restaurant was spacious and tasteful and clean. Room was massive, beds comfortable. Food from the restaurant was absolutely lovely - both dinner and breakfast the next day.

    The hotel ticked all the boxes for a short stay in Sheffield due to a family funeral.. A comfortable bed in a nice big room and the staff in the hotel were lovely.. I would definitely stay there again..

    Excellent value for money - we were visiting family close by and this was by far the best deal for 2 x nights including breakfast. The room was clean and quiet both nights which was a relief as we were travelling with our baby. Breakfast was good quality and the staff were lovely. The hotel is dated but this did not bother us.
