We loved our stay here! Small pub serving super yummy food at a reasonable price. We all enjoyed our dinner and breakfasts! Brilliant atmosphere! Friendly, welcoming staff. Our family room was a decent size with two single beds and a double bed. Tea and coffee facilities, water, and biscuits in the room. Toiletries also provided. Great location for walks and exploring the local area. We stayed here visiting family and would definitely book here again on our next visit.

Paul (Manager) outstanding (very friendly on the phone when I called to say I'd arrive late, guided me towards the parking behind the pub & met me there etc.) - congratulations to the owners for finding such a dedicated employee. Also nicely furnished room with very good bed, very new and clean bathroom.

Definitely out of the way place. Very quite location. Excellent food. Could be described as "pub grub" but wider choice than the usual and very high quality. Live music was on during my stay but that stopped at around 10:00pm so not intrusive at all. Sparkling wit from the host!! Since I was leaving well before the 8:00 breakfast, a doggy bag was supplied the noight before with more in there than I acyually asked for. Too generous!

It suited our wish for self-catering and was comfortable and very well equipped. The cottage was lovely in a beautiful rural setting. Lawrence and Ann were very welcoming and ready to give local advice. We look forward to returning sometime.
