Needed a place to stay the night while driving to Kazbegi. Could not have been more happy with this place. Family owned wine cellar with fantastic (seriously amazing!!) food, and the rooms were modern and very clean. The place has a beautiful little yard with fruit trees and a patio, where we could sit down take the edge off our hectic travel day and wind down. Highly recommend staying here. The family who runs this place are hospitable, service oriented, quality driven, and genuine. I also recommend eating dinner there, visiting the wine cellar and purchasing some wine bottles from them🤍 We only stayed there for a night, but would recommend to stay longer!

This place should not be missed on your Georgia trip. Situated next to a nice lake (good for birding!), you will stay next to a castle which the owner built himself. The owner is very knowledgeable in Georgian culture and history and happy to tell you things you surely did not know about Georgia before. Not only that: he and his family are also outstanding hosts, happy to share a glass or two (or more!) of delicious self-made wine in a truly unique, artistic, cozy, and fascinating place. Something to be aware of: it is possible you will hear singing party guests in the evening - better grab a glass and join in! Thank you, we will definitely come back!

Our hosts were very friendly and happy to assist with anything that we needed. The indoor pool and sauna were also great as it gave us something extra to do when it was too cold to be outside. The family room upstairs was also great for our family. Food was also really nice!

We had an unforgettable stay at this cottage right on the shore of the Zhinvali Reservoir. The location is simply stunning – you step outside, and you’re right by the water, surrounded by mountains and breathtaking views. We had a wonderful stay at this place! The atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming, everything was perfectly clean and comfortable. The breakfast and coffee was absolutely delicious. This is your best bet when travelling with kids and sleeping around Ananuri! We liked the place so much we came again 2 weeks later! We definitely felt at home here and the kids enjoyed playing around the cottage.
