The hotel is in an excellent position, the staff is very friendly and helpful, facilities are amazing. It has a private beach as well and they provide lounges and umbrellas, breakfast is amazing. Definitely recommend this place.

The room with an enormous bed and tasteful decor. The food at dinner was superb. I really enjoyed the Sauna, and the Ancient Greek massage was very good. All the staff were superb.

We had a wonderful 2 day stay at Mystras Grand Palace which is beautiful and affordable; and, equipped with 2 swimming pools (one for children), tennis courts; and, a very good restaurant. The property's 30 acres gardens are absolutely beautiful and well kept. Buffet breakfast was extensive and very good; I haven't experience such a variety of dishes anywhere before. Parking was free. Our room was neat and comfortable and equipped with a coffee machine; and, the Molton Brown toiletries in the bathroom were extra special. Sparti/Sparta is just around the corner for more restaurants: and, many shops if you need them. To me the plus point was the knowledgeable and excellent sommelier; and, the friendly and helpful staff.

Just across from the pebble beach of Mikri Mantineia, Mantinia Bay Hotel offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a snack bar. It features elegant, self-catering accommodation with free WiFi.

Since this was the first time we stayed at Mantinia Bay Hotel, we can say it was exactly what we needed and we were delighted with the place. We stayed in one of the apartments and it was very spacious with a nice terrace and a small kitchen corner, which to be honest we didn't use for cooking but it was still very useful to have. The bed was huge and very comfortable and the cleaning service was very detailed. We didn't miss any accessories, even if we didn't find something in our room upon arrival we received it the next day. There were enough parking places in the hotel's parking. The hotel beach is across the street and there are enough sunbeds for the guests. Since we were trying every day for lunch another taverna, we only had lunch once at the hotel, but it was good. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, but nothing fancy or extraordinary ( which was not what we were looking for anyway ), and it worked perfectly with the timeless Greek village feeling that you have there. And last, but definitely not least, the personnel was friendly and always there to help. One thing that needs mentioning, the beaches in that area are rocky, not sandy, beaches. It took us probably 2 days to get used to, but then we were just fine with it since the rocks were round and not pointy, and in the end we actually loved it, it was a good daily reflexology :D A small tip, wait in the water for the sun to set behind the mountain across the gulf. We loved it, including our 4 years old.
