we liked everything; comfortable beds, great stay;very quiet location but still close enough to heaches and Knossos and Heraklion ( car an absolute must). we arrived very late at the property and we were met by a lovely host who made us feel very welcome! even though it was the middle of the night. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house; it’s very quiet and well equipped. everything you need for a relaxing stay. if you love being away from the crowd this is an absolute treat!

A wonderful destination for a getaway. Thalori is somewhat secluded, perched atop a hill, offering a chance to unwind and clear your mind of work-related thoughts. The design is beautifully traditional, reminiscent of a small Greek village. The food is satisfying, locally sourced, and homemade. While it may not be a Michelin-starred restaurant, I don’t share the complaints I've come across on Booking. I recommend bringing a long sleeve, as the evenings can be slightly chilly, even during the hot season due to its hillside location. Personally, I don't recommend venturing to the nearest beach – the only road there is quite steep, and the beach itself isn't particularly charming. On the other hand I highly recommend going to the farm, where a charming, friendly farmer- a member of owners family, showed us animals and told us a lot of interesting stories.

This place is truly a gem! The apartments have everything you need, are cool inside and have fly screens everywhere. If you wish, the host provides you with a local breakfast. The swimming pool has an amazing view. What we loved most about this place, was the hospitality of everyone who worked here. Katarina gave us so many good tips on what to do.

Best host and best apartment ever! Here you truly feel at home, because there is absolutely anything you can think of inside. Fully equipped like a normal house. Very quiet. Close to stores and many restaurants. If you want to go to Matala and Komos beach, this is the perfect location to stay. Also Lidl is 5 minutes away. There is also a Karting place nearby. 10 is not enough to rate this apartment and the host!
