I recently stayed at Blue Horizon Apartments in Stalida, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed by Antonis, the host, whose hospitality and attention to detail truly made my stay exceptional. He went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed and provided wonderful recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. The apartment itself was spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable. The spacious layout, fully equipped kitchen, and luxurious shower made it feel like a home away from home. One of the highlights for me was the private balcony with its breathtaking views of the sea and mountains—enjoying my morning coffee there was pure bliss.

Vicky made our stay unbelievably good. The hotel itself is in a great location, and in a quiet area. The restaurant and pool were amazing. Superb breakfast. Highly recommend.

The resort is beautiful just like on the photos. we stayed in a 2 bedroom villa with a pool, which was amazing and very clean and had everything we needed, especially since we travelled with a baby. we do however feel that for the price we paid the villa should be cleaned every day, at the least the towels should be changed. we had booked half board and breakfast was really good with lots of choices, dinner was buffet style and without much imagination, especially for the price we paid. The photos of the food variety were very different. On the first night was ‘Greek night’ which was delicious and was served to us but compared to other hotels in this price range dinner option at the buffet were not great. Cocktails were delicious and many varieties. The staff were friendly but one or two were more attentive than others who need better training. The hotel at that level lacks professionalism , it seems a bit too casual. We didnt have a car but feel you need one because going into town took 20 minutes which was fine but walking back was up a steep hill which in the middle of summer might be a bit too hot and tiring.

A heartfelt thank you to the outstanding guest relations staff — especially Ritsa and Vuola — whose kindness, attention to detail, and seamless organization turned our holiday into something truly memorable. Ritsa, in particular, was a star: arranging transfers, extending our checkout, checking in daily, and always doing so with grace and a smile. The dining here is remarkable. Not only are the fine-dining restaurants outstanding — creative, beautifully presented dishes, and impeccable service — but the main buffet restaurants are also exceptional. Everything is spotless, with food stations kept immaculately clean and replenished with fresh, high-quality options at all times. And let’s talk about the bars: there are many across the resort, each serving top-quality branded spirits and cocktails made properly — no shortcuts, just excellent drinks every time. Whether you wanted a classic cocktail or something new, the bartenders delivered with skill and a smile, making every visit feel special. The resort itself is stunning — from stylish, immaculate rooms to sparkling pools and lush grounds. This isn’t just a hotel; it’s a complete experience where you’re truly cared for. We left feeling refreshed, spoiled, and eager to return. Five stars hardly do it justice. Thank you once again to Ritsa, Vuola, Konstantina, and the entire team for making our time at Nana Golden Beach Resort unforgettable.

The localisation is really nice, with the view to the sea. Near the old town of Malia. Very helpful and nice owners and all People that work in Mare Monte. Best regards, Karolina and Family
