The breakfast was wonderful, the personal was warm and welcoming, the room beautiful and the location was absolutely amazing ! We should have stayed an extra night, because it was everything and more than we had hoped. Both the jacuzzi and the fireplace made for very romantic evenings and the garden and balcony with breakfast made for wonderful slow mornings. Having a great interest in the mystras ruins and having them just a small walk away was perfect for us - we hope to come back one day when the palace has been completed in restoration!

I recently stayed at Kyniska Palace Conference & Spa in Mystras in April 2025 and had a truly pleasant experience. The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The room was clean and very spacious, which was perfect for my family—I stayed with my wife and two children. We booked the half-board option and really enjoyed both the dinner and breakfast provided; the food was delicious and satisfying. The hotel is located close to Mystras, a historic fortified town in Laconia, Peloponnese, situated on Mount Taygetus above ancient Sparta. In 1989, the ruins of Mystras—including the fortress, palace, churches, and monasteries—were named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The site features a museum and partially restored ruins that are absolutely worth visiting. I would definitely recommend Kyniska Palace to anyone visiting the region. It’s a great base for exploring the rich history of Mystras while enjoying comfort and great hospitality.

We had a wonderful 2 day stay at Mystras Grand Palace which is beautiful and affordable; and, equipped with 2 swimming pools (one for children), tennis courts; and, a very good restaurant. The property's 30 acres gardens are absolutely beautiful and well kept. Buffet breakfast was extensive and very good; I haven't experience such a variety of dishes anywhere before. Parking was free. Our room was neat and comfortable and equipped with a coffee machine; and, the Molton Brown toiletries in the bathroom were extra special. Sparti/Sparta is just around the corner for more restaurants: and, many shops if you need them. To me the plus point was the knowledgeable and excellent sommelier; and, the friendly and helpful staff.

Jim was very friendly and helpful, also happens to make like the best omelette in the world. Very nice hospitality, very comfortable and cozy rooms in a nice neighborhood. We had a very pleasant stay and will be definitely visiting again in the future!

The hotel was better than we had expected. The location is just by Mystras and very close to Sparta. The hotel personnel were absolutely fantastic, making us feel welcome (kudos to the hiring and training team :) ) The facilities were clean and in great condition. Fantastic breakfast and also a very nice restaurant covered all our needs. We also used the spa facilities for massage, which were also at a peak level. The room provided all the necessary amenities and even the crib for our toddler was in mint condition.

The resort is located between Sparta and Mystra, so you can visit both. The room was very comfortable. The pool was really nice (there is also a very shallow part for small children, about 60 cm deep). The breakfast is very impressive and has everything you can dream of and more! Staff is friendly everywhere (restaurant, reception, porter Giorgos). The restaurant is really worth going to (nice food, good service). Good Wifi!
