A brilliant place to stay in El Remate. Dimitri and Nathalie are thoughtful hosts and they have created a little paradise, where toucans flies from the trees of the gardens. The food is excellent and we had a wonderful stay.

A very nice hotel by the lake. Unfortunatly we didn't have much time to enjoy all the hotel has to offer as we stayed for only one night, but the staff was super friendly and the room was very comfortable. Definetely recommend

Lovely people, very helpful. Beautiful nature and I could walk across the road for a swim. As a solo traveller, I met other travellers there and shared experiences going to places. They accommodated my food allergies.

I can recommend to stay in El Remate when you are going to Tikal (I prefer it to Flores). And Hotel Mon Ami is a very good choice where to stay.

La Casa de Don David has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in El Remate. The hotel also offers free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service.

The room is in a peaceful location. Amazing views from the terrace adjoining the room. Lovely hammock to relax in. The host is friendly welcoming and helpful. The whole property is in a beautiful garden surrounded by lush jungle. It's the perfect place to stay to visit Tikal and Yaxha Temples and to explore Lake Peten Itza. Highly recommend staying here.
