It was incredible to find such a comfortable villa in such a wild location. The villa is not big, but it has everything you need. You can tell it was made with a lot of love and care. They even provide robes, slippers, breakfast items, and a fully stocked minibar, which is so convenient since there are no shops within walking distance. The location is unique, with a stunning view of the rice terraces—no houses in front, offering complete seclusion and privacy. There are no tourists around, so you get to experience Bali in its untouched beauty. We were welcomed so warmly, and they prepared an incredible surprise that I will remember for the rest of my life. There was a bird in a cage, which we were asked to set free as a symbol of liberation. It was so unexpected, yet so beautiful and moving! Another amazing thing was that you can walk down to the river and wander through the rice fields completely alone. The energy there is something else—I've never felt anything like it anywhere else! I left feeling rejuvenated in both body and soul. I fell in love with this place forever!

We had the best time in Sarinbuana Eco Lodge. What a special place - the owners and the team put so much love into all their work. If you are looking for a quiet, truly eco friendly stay with a stunning view, and the best food, then this is a place that you should not miss. We stayed one week and loved every second of it - our boys enjoyed it so much as well. Thanks a lot for putting so much love and effort into a sustainable way of tourism!!

It’s a charming and well-maintained lodge. The grounds are beautiful and it’s a delight seeing all the organically grown fruit and vegetables within the grounds. It was very peaceful and a true place to unwind. Communication was top notch from the moment we made our booking through to check in and check out. The staff were super-helpful and spoke a good standard of English. I highly recommend Oemah Tepi Sawah.

Our stay here was truly exceptionally beautiful. The room looks just like in the pictures and is really lovely. The view is breathtaking, but the hosts are the best part. They are incredibly kind. We have met many friendly people in Bali, but these two surpass them all. A wholehearted recommendation!

The stay at the farmhouse was easily the best experience we had in Bali. The rustic cabin is tastefully built and beautifully decorated. There is a lovely outside bathroom, like in many places in Bali. The room is quite large and has a big double bed with mozzie net and a separate single bed. The verandah is overlooking rice fields and a fruit and vegetable plantation. The only sounds you can hear is the running water from the rice fields and the sounds of nature, like lots of frogs at night, and birds during the day. The family who is running the place (at this stage there is only one cabin available) are so lovely and friendly. The sister made us beautifully presented and very tasty breakfasts and dinners every day. In the evenings we would go over to their little house to sit by the fire, play music and sing together, and share stories. There are so many things to see and do around the area, even within walking distance. We had a driver who lives in the nearby village who was also a very good guide and even organised a Gamelan lesson for us in the village. If you love nature, traditional culture and can do without other tourists around, this place is amazing!

The house is amazing and the garden is. so beautiful. Adi looks like a rock star., but it is such a super nice guy. His uncles prepared us an amazing breakfast in the garden. The room is big and the mattress very comfortable , . And everything was soo clean. We couldn’t have ask for more. Thanks adi and uncles for all.

We booked last minute due to a change of plan and really happy we stayed here. The staff are fantastic, we were greeted with fried bananas and drinks and made to feel at home. The accommodation is really nice, I think it was the most comfortable bed I slept on in Bali. The views, the staff and the atmosphere of tranquility are what really sets it apart from other places.

    We’ve loved to be in the nature and feel the real atmosphere of traditional Bali. Dian, the manager of the hotel, did everything to make us feel like at home. The staff were very friendly and also took care of my children when needed. The food was very tasty and we’ve enjoyed all of our meals we’ve tried.

    The hotel ans bungalows, are lost in the wild nature, it is absolutely wonderfull. We have done hicking in the mountain for 4 hours and it was wonderfull and very interesting about the fruits, temples... In the hotel there are 2 water fall with natural pool very nice and funny.

    This secluded property is an absolute gem - the rice paddy field view is unforgettable, the villas comfortable and the staff are lovely. We also loved the fact that it is run by a local family that also looks after the paddies you are surrounded by. The walks (marked trails by Clove Tree Hill!) around the property are stunning: Bali like it was 25 years ago without the tourists, touts and parties.

    Amazing luxury ecolodge right in the slopes of Mount Batukaru run by a Balinese-adopted Australian family. Beautiful houses and architecture. Natural swimming pool, plus river pools. Being in the middle of nature, just jungle sounds. The best is all the community and environmental projects the lodge supports with the income they get, plus projects to preserve the rainforest. The restaurant serves delicious dishes and exquisite desserts. It was a bit out of our budget but for a few nights it was a dream to be there.
