It was incredible to find such a comfortable villa in such a wild location. The villa is not big, but it has everything you need. You can tell it was made with a lot of love and care. They even provide robes, slippers, breakfast items, and a fully stocked minibar, which is so convenient since there are no shops within walking distance. The location is unique, with a stunning view of the rice terraces—no houses in front, offering complete seclusion and privacy. There are no tourists around, so you get to experience Bali in its untouched beauty. We were welcomed so warmly, and they prepared an incredible surprise that I will remember for the rest of my life. There was a bird in a cage, which we were asked to set free as a symbol of liberation. It was so unexpected, yet so beautiful and moving! Another amazing thing was that you can walk down to the river and wander through the rice fields completely alone. The energy there is something else—I've never felt anything like it anywhere else! I left feeling rejuvenated in both body and soul. I fell in love with this place forever!

Beautiful and secluded genuinely eco resort. The staff and owners were lovely and passionate. We slept amazingly in the tree house style accommodation which was very comfortable despite the lack of air conditioning.

Extremely beautiful landscape, no crowds and good food with vegetarian options. Lovely and very well caring hosts, with whom you can have very nice chats. The facilities are designed well to enhance the immersion in nature. Unlike the artificial feel of white painted walls and ceramic, you have the wood and stone; plus open bathroom to feel the forest. I would definitely come again whenever I can visit Bali.

The kindness of the hosts (Adi, Adi’s sister Kadek) is amazing. The house was built and decorated with care and love by Adi and you immediately feel very comfy there. The house is surrounded by rice fields and nature.

The house is amazing and the garden is. so beautiful. Adi looks like a rock star., but it is such a super nice guy. His uncles prepared us an amazing breakfast in the garden. The room is big and the mattress very comfortable , . And everything was soo clean. We couldn’t have ask for more. Thanks adi and uncles for all.

This place is quiet, very quiet. If you want to experience Bali from 40 years or more ago it is worth making the effort. No shops, limited local restaurants although friend staff provide meals and price so reasonable. Wifi is good. the views are spectacular and there are only 3 very reasonably price well appointed cabin available so no crowds but can easily book out too. My second visit and as a regular Bali traveller now alway on my list.

    We’ve loved to be in the nature and feel the real atmosphere of traditional Bali. Dian, the manager of the hotel, did everything to make us feel like at home. The staff were very friendly and also took care of my children when needed. The food was very tasty and we’ve enjoyed all of our meals we’ve tried.

    The hotel ans bungalows, are lost in the wild nature, it is absolutely wonderfull. We have done hicking in the mountain for 4 hours and it was wonderfull and very interesting about the fruits, temples... In the hotel there are 2 water fall with natural pool very nice and funny.

    This secluded property is an absolute gem - the rice paddy field view is unforgettable, the villas comfortable and the staff are lovely. We also loved the fact that it is run by a local family that also looks after the paddies you are surrounded by. The walks (marked trails by Clove Tree Hill!) around the property are stunning: Bali like it was 25 years ago without the tourists, touts and parties.

    Amazing luxury ecolodge right in the slopes of Mount Batukaru run by a Balinese-adopted Australian family. Beautiful houses and architecture. Natural swimming pool, plus river pools. Being in the middle of nature, just jungle sounds. The best is all the community and environmental projects the lodge supports with the income they get, plus projects to preserve the rainforest. The restaurant serves delicious dishes and exquisite desserts. It was a bit out of our budget but for a few nights it was a dream to be there.
