Ana and her husband who run the property are the best hosts. We organised the Ijen trek with Ana and a taxi transfer both went very smoothly. Rooms were cleaned every day. It’s in a local area which we enjoyed. The kids enjoyed chatting to us Europeans!

bedroom : clean and neat and AC works 10/10. (YOU ARE IN FOR A TREAT IF YOU GET THE SHARK ROOM!!! 7 wonders of the world I’m not even kidding) toilet : flushes well, bidet is so strong, and showers work good living space: a patio for the smokers, a good space for dining in (if you plan to order GrabFood), a nice vibe inside the house to read books/etc if you don’t feel like going out and just chill host: MY FAVOURITE PART OF IT ALL THEY MAKE ME FEEL SO MUCH AT HOME

We stayed here for one night to visit the Ijen volcano early in the morning. Everything was perfect: just amazing hosts , clean and nice decorated room, delicious breakfast, beautiful area. Our only regret is that we didn’t have enough time to spend there. Thank you very much.

There are no words that could describe our two unforgettable stays at Ijen Kingdom Guesthouse and the village named Glondok. Dora and his family became like friends and a second home to us. Dora has shown us Jawa like we would never have dreamed of. We became a part of his village and immerse ourselves in the fascinating world of the locals and their lives. We laughed and talked so much together and had tears in our eyes when we had to say goodbye. Every morning we had a delicious breakfast and were asked for our favorite drink. Even if we didn't get up in the morning, his wife made us breakfast later. The bedroom has a really cozy bed and a quiet fan. There is a living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom. There are plenty of little shops in the village where you can get everything you need. And if you need something that isn't there, Dora will take care of getting it for you. Anyone who wants to visit Ijen, Bromo or Jawa should contact Dora. He will make your stay to something very special, because he not only has a great homestay but also organizes the right tour for everyone. We will definitely come back a 3rd time and are already looking forward to seeing Dora, his family, Budi and the whole village again.
