This was the best accommodation we've had in Bali. It was comfortable and clean, the food was just amazing, staff and owners were incredibly helpful and friendly. We were so relaxed throughout our stay here. It was very difficult to leave the hammocks and stunning view (ocean, mountains, forest, rice fields) to explore the area. This in not some luxury resort where you get pampered, it's a cozy bungalow surrounded by nature where you can just exist in peace for a while. It was perfect for us.

This place is as close to Paradise as it gets. When you dream of going to Bali, this is the dream, traditional carved wood joglos nestled in the Sambalan Hills, amongst lush tropical plants and flowers, with the most lovely infinity pool with serene Buddha. Staff is totally on top of it. Place is tended and spotless. I was in Padma Joglo and it was a palace truly. Staff is lovely and helpful. Restaurant food is delicious especially yummy chicken satay.

Zanzan, Putu, their beautiful children, grandmother, and the kind-hearted staff welcomed me with such grace and sincerity that I immediately felt like part of their extended family. This isn’t just a hotel OMunity is a living, breathing village rooted in tradition, love, and authenticity. It’s located in Sawan, a special village of 10,000 original Balinese families, and it offers the rare opportunity to truly disconnect from the busy world and reconnect with what matters most nature, community, and self. Every guest staying alongside me ended up extending their time a true testament to the magic of this place and the hospitality of its hosts. From heartfelt conversations with Zanzan to sharing delicious vegetarian meals prepared with love, every moment felt sacred. I was even invited to attend three traditional ceremonies during my stay a beautiful and humbling experience I will never forget. One of the highlights for me was visiting a local school in the village led by an inspiring principal who teaches children about sustainability and recycling. I also had the joy of making offering baskets, exploring the breathtaking Sekumpul and Fiji waterfalls, and immersing myself in the local culture in the most authentic way. OMunity is not just a destination it’s a life experience. It lives deep in my heart, and I carry the memories with so much love and gratitude. The room was very spacious and comfortable, we really enjoyed a large terrace. It was nice and quiet besides the occasional animal / roosters noises. Location is a bit remote, but it’s close to the waterfalls and their driver rates are very reasonable if you want to take a day trip. We booked their driver to go to Sekumpul and Fiji waterfalls.

You can hear nothing but the ocean, amazing view, fantastic place for sunbath. The family house we stayed in was the closed to the sea. Never before we lived so close to the water. The round-shaped cottage house is perfect place to relax, work, talk or eat breakfast. We really wished we could stay longer. The owner is super nice and helps you with everything. If you order food or want to make a loundry, he takes care and doesn't charge you a penny. Only as much the original service costed. It was hard for us to leave this place even for a moment due to the joy, but when we did, late afternoon... for 30 or 45 minutes, the room was clean and tidy. We are pretty sure that the owner respected our privacy and as soon as he has seen that we are leaving, he took his chance to clean up our room before we come back. Definite come back!
