The staff here were incredible at arranging our pick up, departure and excursions. Super friendly and helpful with good English and excellent communication. We arrived early and the water to the village had been cut off but everyone was super busy trying to get sorted. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was simple and delicious and the little bungalow was simple, cozy, spacious and excellent value for money. The view and location are incredible. Our most amazing day was the excursion to the bat cave and tubing back down the river. The cave itself is not for the faint hearted, or even remotely claustrophobic. It's a very real and adventurous/ wild cave with crawling parts, overhanging rocks ,bats ,bugs and slippery floor. But ... there is a way out half way through if you have second thoughts... 😄. The lunch was.beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The tubing, bonus hot spring cave and waterfall blissfully and incredible. Overall an awesome place for the price.

The most beautiful lodge we had the pleasure to stay at! Nested in the jungle, it felt like a dream to relax listening to the sound of the forest. Everything is beautiful at the Jungle Guide, and the staff is very kind and helpful. We even had the chance to listen to some of them playing the guitar and singing, it was lovely! I can't recommend it enough!

We enjoyed it here so much, we extended our stay. It is very close to the nature, if you are lucky you can see Orang-Utans and other monkeys in the garden. The river is very close and you can hear it in the evening.

If you want to see orangutans in Bukit Lawang, stop looking, this is the place! The hotel is rustic and beautiful, it is next to the river and the views of the jungle from the bedroom window are incredible! From here we saw orangutans, gibbons, monkeys, langurs, butterflies and birds without having to move. It includes breakfast, and in the restaurant they serve the best curry in town! The staff always attend you with a smile and are willing to help you with whatever you need at all times, we leave with a full heart, thank you very much Pepen, Lina, Inaka, Dani, Rini, Safii, Kolik, Pindo, Ifan and of course Riko (we have a chess match pending, the definition) And if you want to do the tour and enter the national park to explore the wonders of the incredible jungle of Sumatra, well, I must say that here they have the most professional team of all! We spent 3 days and 2 nights in the jungle, with the best guides in Bukit Lawang: Rio and Jerry! They accompany you, teach you and take care of you, they care about protecting the environment and the surroundings, proud of their culture and with a smile all day, attentive to us living one of the best experiences of our entire trip through Southeast Asia. Thanks also to Jill for an amazing dining experience in the middle of the jungle, we never imagined we would eat so well! You have a great team Sean, thank you so much! We did the 2-day, 1-night hike and it was an amazing experience. Our guide was excellent – knowledgeable, friendly, and very informative. The staff were all so kind, helpful, and great company throughout our stay. I can highly recommend this place to anyone.
