The host is an absolute gentleman. They have put a lot of hard work into this fine buiilding to provide accommodation in the hearth of the town . They went out of their way to accommodate me, far beyond what I could have asked for. Snacks and drinks are freely available to take. The place is clean and modern and all that one needs. The extra mile the host went made all the difference, from helping me out with parking for a large van to booking a meal in a fantastic local restaurant a few doors up. He even made arrangements to purchase a chair that I spotted on my behalf from a local shop across the road because, due to other commitments, I was unable to be around during the shop opening times, it was waiting for me when I got back.. The town itself is a little gem, and everyone I met was hospitable and genuine. I thought we had lost that in Ireland but I've been proven wrong. Thank you for everything.

Staff in the bar were brilliant very good and so friendly, Grace at reception was so kind and lovely on arriving We were a bit early but she managed to get us our rooms which was so kind and really appreciated.

Very friendly hotel. Room was excellent. Had dinner, breakfast and lunch in the hotel. All meals were home cooked, tasty and served piping hot. Staff friendly and helpful.

Incredibly welcoming, very accommodating regarding our late arrival, so many lovely touches (gorgeous wheaten bread, fresh milk, & the wine was very much appreciated! - & beautiful flowers). JUST WOW.!! The property is exactly as described, super clean, super comfortable, hot tub was amazing and Claire was an amazing host! There was snow on the ground the night before we were due to arrive and Claire very nicely asked us if we wanted to change to a different date as the roads were so bad but we went ahead and we were so glad we did! Ballyhaunis town was 12 mins away, closer than castlerea and we had a nice Chinese take away for anyone in the future staying in this property! The peace and tranquility is such a win and under 2hrs from Dublin it was perfect for our family reunion. Thank you Claire, we will 100% be back and we can honestly recommend anyone looking for a lovely house away from the world, book this house!! Keith
