I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. It’s a beautiful place located right in the center of Ballyhaunis, with a long standing presence and a nice history. Despite being established many years ago, the entire hotel feels new and modern. The room was very nice and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Self check in is also available. Tomas was a fantastic host, he always asked if everything was going well and gave me excellent recommendations for local places to eat and the best pubs for a drink. Everything you need is just a short walk away, and there’s even a lovely coffee shop right below the hotel. I received a voucher for a free coffee. Overall, my stay was wonderful. I travel to Ireland from time to time, and I’m quite sure I’ll be back. This was truly one of my best stays in Ireland, and I can highly recommend it, thanks for everything!

This is a very well-kept, older hotel with a very accommodating staff and excellent breakfast! We needed to be near Ballaghadereen for a family wedding, and this hotel was an ideal location.

Very comfortable room and very clean, with good sound-proofing (we were both coughing getting over a cold). Maggie is very friendly and eager to be sure you're comfortable. The wifi was surprisingly fast - the best we've seen anywhere we've stayed in Ireland.

The house was clean, cozy and well located for our work at the festival in Lough Key Forest Park. There's a large Centra a few minutes away and a petrol station round the corner. Elizabeth left us milk, scones, jam, bread, tea and biscuits as she suspected correctly we wouldn't have a chance to get to the shop due to our late arrival - a lovely and thoughtful gesture.The kitchen is great and entirely suitable for cooking your own meals and the house has three bathrooms Communications between us before arrival were clear and fast, and the easy to use lock box made getting the key an effortless process. A lovely house and a thoughtful hostess. What more could you ask for?
