The Ring Farmhouse was just perfect for myself, my wife and son. Quiet and private, but close to town. The hosts were friendly and very pleasant and helpful. The room was spotless and the home-cooked breakfast was top notch. We were visiting from the States and felt very at home at The Ring. We’d definitely return!

    Extremely friendly, efficient and helpful, owners are very welcoming, breakfast was top class with good quality produce, very clean with good size room's, perfect location close to birr castle and surrounding amenities, children had great fun in the garden with swings, slides and football goals, couldn't ask for better!

    It's a lovely hotel, with a friendly staff, in a very nice location. Gym & swimming pool, steam from, sauna & jacuzzi. Food was good & breakfast was good & varied. Family room had double & single bed, & a very decent size couch/ pull out bed. Really lovely lobby to sit in & take drink or tea & scones.

    The facilities for families were great, the room we stayed in was a basic family room with bunk beds but was perfect for our one night stay. The rubber ducks for the kids were their highlight of the stay. Breakfast was great, lots of options, the fresh made porridge was a huge hit. The staff at the pool were amazing
