Cahir House Hotel is just a few steps away from the castle. From our room, we could see the castle lit up at night. Great for dreaming of knights and fair maidens. The beds are comfortable, but we arrived in a heat wave, and the poor little fan couldn't cool down the room. We were very fortunate to arrive at Trad Fest, so sitting in their bar and restaurant, we were entertained with live music. If you are staying at the hotel, have your meals there. The food is exceptional. Just like the food, the service is wonderful. A big thank you to Finnbarr for always checking to ensure my meals were gluten-free and my wine glass was full. I would definitely recommend this as a good location to see Rock of Cashel, swiss Cottage, Cahir Castle, and Jerpoint Abbey and so much more You can start your day with a full Irish breakfast or a buffet breakfast, which was included in our stay. then return at the end of the day for the wonderful dinner in a pub like atmosphere.

This is a great B&B situated in beautiful countryside, the owner Tommy was so helpful and took a pride in his business. If ever we’re in the area again we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Veronica is an excellent hostess, who did the utmost to meet our needs. We loved the way the house was renovated. Colours, fabrics and furniture are chosen with exquisite taste. We rented this villa for our parents, it was really charming, clean and cozy. The rock is close, as are shop, pharmacies and everything you might need. Kitchen was full of stuff and equipment. When we couldn't figure out the heating. The owner kindly agreed to come and help us.
