The host is the most hardworking man I've ever met, very polite, cares about his guests, always comes around to make sure his guests are good, always available, gives you all the information, help and support you need. Very focused, organised, hardworking with a smile on his face. You need anything? He's a call away. The hotel has everything to make you feel at home...away from home and that includes a surveillance camera to keep the property secure and make the guests feel safe. The hotel is adjacent to the Bus stop, a stone throw to the train station, and few minutes walk to basic amenities like supermarkets, pharmacy, eatery, you name it. Clean, quiet, perfect! We landed in Dublin, went sightseeing then drove to The Bothy for our first night in Ireland. It was the perfect, peaceful, quiet spot for our first night. The owners were lovely. We had everything we needed. She bakes a loaf of soda bread for you and it's delicious! It was the perfect spot for stepping off the rest of our travels! Highly recommend this spot!

A very nice hotel with exceptional staff. Very welcoming. The room was perfect and the bed comfy. It was very quiet. The food in the restaurant was very good. There was ample parking at the front of the hotel.
