Our room was large with comfortable beds and seating area and nice views of the Burren landscape. Breakfast was very good with lots of options and sweets :) Accommodating host and really nice location a bit outside the very small town of Ballyvaughan, good location if you want to explore the Cliffs of Moher or the Burren area.

The Stop is 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of Galway and half a mile from the coast. This 1930s property offers stylish rooms and a contemporary feel throughout, complemented by modern art work.

During our stay at ‘The Stop’, we particularly enjoyed the beautiful design of the rooms and the great conversations with our host Russel. The breakfast with many home-made or local specialities was outstanding.

Really good communication from the host. Beds were comfortable. Apartment was spotless and well stocked with essentials. Location is perfect near the end of the prom in Salthill. Ground floor apartment so easy to access and plenty of parking. Would definitely recommend.

What a beautiful Lodge. From the minute we arrived we were greeted with the warmest welcome, Staff who showed us directly to our room which we thought was a lovely touch. The room was incredible we had two double beds which were the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in we did not want to leave. A lovely touch of water in the rooms, beautiful array of tea coffee and a delicious choice of biscuits. The staff were very warm and welcoming we will most definitely be returning. Well done to all the team.

It is a student accommodation that hosts tourists during holidays, a nice and quiet place to visit in Galway. It takes less than 10 min to reach the city centre by public bus, or you can walk for 15-20 min, alternatively. The accommodation has all the facilities, including a small kitchen, and you can ask the reception for additional things that you might need (e.g., hairdryer).
