This hotel has an exceptional location if you are looking for lush nature up in the mountains. A Shangri-La. The mornings are magical waking up to the bird songs.. We stayed there for four nights. Could easily have doubled it. During the days there are several options for trekking around the whole Munnar area, though do plan in time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We hope to be able to return.

Everything was amazing. Starting from the villa, surrounded by the hills and located in a very peaceful environment. The staff was very caring and attentionate to all the details. We’ll never forget the chef Deva and his amazing food, the best we had in India ! The area is really nice and if you need to escape from the chaos of the city, a peaceful retreat at the villa is the best option ever. Really lovely family, well appointed and comfortable room, beautiful natural location and great food! Felt like a real and welcoming homestay - family gave us a tour of their cardamon fields, production and the surrounding valley which was amazing. We played fun evening games with the younger family members and enjoyed their pet bird. The older son also arranged for us to trek nearby Chokramudi peak which was amazing and also took us to a secret waterfall. The family cooked amazing meals with ingredients from their garden. A really lovely stay! This is definitely an off the beaten path gem - didn't see another tourist while we were there.
