Next the complete team has done a fantabulous job in the upkeeping of the property. Every small detail is taken care. A perfect stay at a resort with access to expansive free movement areas including riverside and the beach connected to Arabian sea. Saw some stunning sunset, variety of flora and fauna a treat to our eyes and enriching our experience. The food tasted very good too. There are even more facilities that we did not even try on this visit and probably would try another time.

My wife and I are cycling in India. We had a fabulous stay at Gateway Bekal. We had a balcony room with a lovely view. Super clean and comfortable spacious room. Food at breakfast was excellent. Dinner buffet was excellent. A la carte menu is slightly expensive, but then it is the Taj group so we expect this. Staff everywhere were friendly, helpful and always professional, eager to please us, and responsive to every request we had - very impressive. The site is still being worked on - the spa, and bar are not working, and the Riverside walkway is not smooth. A short autorickshaw ride to Bekal Fort. Overall, a magnificent experience, which will be even better when the hotel is fully functional, and the extensive grounds have been nourished by one monsoon season.

The young girl on reception Hanoodsheik had only been there 2 weeks and she worked really hard to make sure we had everything we wanted and answer all our questions, the mix up with our reservation was resolved. Large spacious room, nice balcony area with seating.
