The WiFi was as good as the best anywhere in India - absolutely brilliant and so useful for me. The food was very good and the location is superb barely 400 metres from the Ticket Office to the Bird Sanctuary. The staff help to contact guides and transport to get to hides and other areas for Birding and generally Basil will help with anything you need. Absolutely brilliant place to stay for Birders.

Simon and the entire team at Windermere went out of their way to make sure our stay was special. The food was delicious and the rooms spacious and comfortable. The bikes available are well maintained and the area surrounding the hotel is really beautiful. This is an absolutely stunning property off the beaten track that is well worth exploring.

This was the perfect place to relax at the end of our trip. The property is beautifully furnished, with a large and clean pool, and was very spacious for the two of us. The outdoor shower was a nice touch. The staff were excellent and we enjoyed every meal that we had at the property.

This gorgeous retreat in the middle of a peaceful forest was the perfect finish of my 1 month backpacking trip through South India. Every day you can join 2 yoga classes (6:30 and 17:30) and you will get consultation from an ayurvedic doctor. The oil massages and steam treatments were super relaxing, the room and bed were super comfy and the swimming pool offered a great refreshment. Simple ayurvedic meals kept my stomach happy and the staff was amazing! 🙏

This property is located at a very good location. In Thodupuzha town but away from the crowd and traffic from the city. Close to all amenities. The view from the balcony is so picturesque. The stay was beyond our expectations from the very first moment! Fantastic communication, wonderful and very helpful staff - Priscilla, you were amazing! Our children and we were regretting that Parudessa House was fully book for the next few days as we would love to be back. But if not this then definitely next time.
