very quiet in the nature. lovely man who arranged food and chai for us. the owner was very lovely and drove us to our next destination. he was very warm and friendly and drove us home a lovely way through the best forest area we have seen here.

The setting of the camp is spectacular, overlooking the Periyar River and it's forested bank on the opposite side. Plenty of amazing birds and even heard elephants in the evening. Suresh was a fantastic host, and was able to organise us a transfer from the airport as well as a tuk-tuk to the bird sanctuary the following day. The camp has bicycles and kayaks for guests to use (unfortunately we were out of season for the kayaks as the water level was too low) but had fun cycling around the surrounding areas. The tents were well kitted out and very comfortable.

This was the perfect place to relax at the end of our trip. The property is beautifully furnished, with a large and clean pool, and was very spacious for the two of us. The outdoor shower was a nice touch. The staff were excellent and we enjoyed every meal that we had at the property.

This place is truly a paradise. It's very peaceful and charming, offering a perfect escape from the busy and noisy city life, which is exactly why we chose to stay here, even though we didn't know much about Ayurveda. Right from the start, the friendly smiles and kindness of the staff made us feel right at home. The food was incredible and sooo delicious too; it was all vegetarian, very tasty, and every day there were many dishes to choose from. One of our favorite moments was the traditional lunch served on banana leaves. I appreciated the personalized care from my Ayurvedic doctor, who always greeted me by my name when she met and had a small chat. ☺️ She also explained treatments with patience, never rushing or pushing me into something. The nature around the retreat is very beautiful, and there are lots of small trips you can take nearby. You'll also meet many interesting people here, who are taking treatments, and you can chat with them during meals. Something really special was our yoga teacher singing during shavasana. She was also very helpful when we wanted to rent a scooter. Everyone here is like an angel and they truly care about you—your health, your mind, and your body. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience. ✨ I wish you all the best. And hope to see you all again. ☺️

This property is located at a very good location. In Thodupuzha town but away from the crowd and traffic from the city. Close to all amenities. The view from the balcony is so picturesque. The facilities provided are very good value for money. The staff are so friendly. Very clean fascinating atmosphere… Highly recommended for a family stay.

What did we like about Parudeesa...literally everything. Our hosts Jack and his mother were extremely warm and went way beyond our expectations with their hospitality and care. The house itself was a beautiful amalgamation of traditional Kerala architecture with modern amenities and the room was spacious with comfortable bedding...freshest linen...superfast wifi and cable tv and the cherry on top being the clean, modern washroom. The courtyard and garden alongwith the rooftop yoga corner and tea and coffee station were beautifully designed and added just the amount of rustic charm; the place was already naturally endowed with; to take it to the next level. There's ample parking space and the overall ambience is relaxing and peaceful. The main takeaway according to us was however the hospitality and love of the hosts.
